For those with little patience, TS4 features an intelligent build system that detects the size of the rooms and conveniently distributes windows throughout the home.
To save time, The Sims 4 includes several preset furniture sets, which are distributed around the room according to their size. You can then relocate each piece separately.
I hope it comes out for Mac WHEN it launches for PC! If we have to wait months and months…I’d be quite unhappy.
We have some little things like fitness, so sims can naturally change over time in the game,” says The Sims 4’s producer Grant Rodiek. “If they overeat they’ll become overweight. If they never exercise, they might become overweight. But if you eat healthily or eat properly or you exercise, your sims will lose weight.
We have the ability for them to be unhappy about their weight,” says Rodiek. “It’s tricky with the emotional state being based on people’s weight. We want to make sure we’re not making a statement or telling people what’s right or wrong, but you can tell a story with those tools. We give you all the pieces you need to tell that story if you want to do that.
Your sims might react, like, when they get bigger you’ll notice they’ll look at themselves and react. How well we change their emotional state based on it, we don’t want to make a statement about things like that because that’s not our place to do that.

After those dates, we’ll get more info!
I really, really hope Bella is in the game. She’s been my favorite since before TS2 came out!

Looks like you won’t need a new PC to play TS4!
The URL “www.TS4News.com" is now connected to this blog! Yay! Change your bookmarks! :)
God I hope so!
It’s also the matter of matching up animations. Imagine Sims kissing who are both different heights…how would their lips match up? It would be impossible to make animations that fit every single height combination. I don’t blame them for not putting in the game, and frankly, I don’t really care about the height of my Sims lol.
Read today’s new info…height sliders are not going to be in TS4.
Yay! See everyone? We’re good.
You can layer shoes, accessories, hats…etc. Not sure about shirts.
Well, my blog actually has nothing to do with fan-created petitions that aren’t going to accomplish anything. The petition exists because people are ignorant to the fact that the CAST will probably be in TS4, and that it isn’t in the demo because they are still focusing on building the core game. Also, my website would have none of my opinions on it…that is what Tumblr is for.
I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that there is a petition to get a feature added in TS4. First of all, there obviously is a reason that the Create-A-Style Tool won’t be in the TS4. They want the game to run as smoothly as possible, and the tool might not allow for that.
Secondly, they are in the PRE-ALPHA. CAST will probably be in the final game. If it isn’t in TS4, that means it is a good thing. See what I mean?
They aren’t talking about clinical depression. “Depressed” is a regular and temporary emotional state for many people. Depression is when someone is unable to get out of that emotional state, or experiences it more frequently and heavily than normal.

I know what you mean. But still, I think this is the direction that The Sims franchise needed to go in. It couldn’t keep getting more realistic…not only is realism kind of anti-Sims, but it simply wouldn’t run on many computers.
For YEARS, Sims fans (including myself) have been clamoring for more of the frivolity and charm that was present in TS1 and some of TS2. While I’m not thrilled with what I’ve seen so far, I can see that EA has decided to return to the roots of The Sims, and hopefully that will be more apparent during gameplay.
I’m going to wait to see videos and hear about game features to reserve judgment, but I am disappointed by some screenshots SO FAR. The renders look great, actually, but actual screenshots of gameplay look pretty terrible. The hair, objects and environment all seem so low-quality, and the Sims themselves are so small and skinny. But seriously, just try to give it a chance for now! :)
I definitely don’t see any evidence of a height slider, unfortunately.
In the picture above, many different Sims are all standing on level ground. The render is clearly supposed to highlight how different Sims can look and act, yet they are all exactly the same height. One Sim is slightly shorter, but she is clearly bending her knees.
I’m not saying that height variation definitely won’t be in the game, but I highly doubt EA would pass on the opportunity to show it off.

We’ll see! I’m not a fan of the graphics at all…the hair is a massive downgrade, and the world looks a lot worse. I’m hoping for some really groundbreaking features!
