Q:Tbh I only care that the gameplay is good, or at least better than TS3. I'm a CC and mod junkie and I know that whatever I don't like about the way the base game looks, I can change later. And even though I prefer semi-realistic looking sims, TS4 sims already look better than TS3 sims. TS3 sims are hideous and even with all the CC in the world, there's no helping it. CAS and the build features look good and have me excited already.

I completely agree! The art style of Sims has also never been realistic. The style of The Sims 4 matches that of the TS1 and TS2 in a really great way, and I’m super excited about it!
